Telford and Wrekin Primary Care Trust

Telford and Wrekin Primary Care Trust visited Location Maps to discuss how we could help with a large mapping project they were undertaking.  They wanted to display all of their current NHS services throughout the whole of Telford and Wrekin on one map, that could be made available to everybody. 

Location Maps suggested an interactive mapping facility that could be used both web based and an interactive display for use by the general public.  All of the services within the Telford and Wrekin district could be displayed on one map so that users could effectively locate their nearest hospital, dentist or doctor's surgery and then find details for that service including, address, telephone number and opening times.  This would then be presented as an interactive touch screen facility in the two specified areas within Telford and Wrekin.  The general public would then be able to use the facility and print off details for the service they require, all in a private and confidential area.  The interactive map would also be accessible directly from the Primary Care Trust's website, allowing users with Internet Access to locate services from the comfort of their own homes.

Location Maps provided an initial demonstration for Telford and Wrekin Primary Care Trust, which was approved with great enthusiasm.  The completed project is currently under construction, and it will be announced on our News page when the project is completed.
